Satya Patel, M.D.

A Short Biography:

Satya Patel, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA. He is a hospitalist at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. He obtained his MD and completed his internal medicine training at University of California, Los Angeles.

He is heavily involved in medical education at the medical school and residency levels and was named as one of 30 Educators for Excellence as part of the curriculum re-design of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is also the Associate Program Director of the anesthesia internship at VA Greater Los Angeles.

In addition to these roles, Dr. Patel actively participates in quality improvement and medical simulation at the VA and coordinates VA Internal Medicine Grand Rounds.
