Michael Gandal, M.D., Ph.D.

A Short Biography:

Michael Gandal, MD PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA and the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. The Gandal laboratory employs systems-level, functional genomic approaches in human brain to understand the neurobiological mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders including autism, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
