A Short Biography:

My research interests center around novel therapeutics for pediatric patients with central nervous system tumors. Specifically, my research focuses on stimulating the immune system to attack brain tumors (immunotherapy). My current projects include investigating means by which to combine immunotherapy with other biologic and cytotoxic therapies to achieve synergistic responses. I am also interested in the molecular signalling pathways that define putative brain tumor-initiating cells. I also participate in a variety of clinical trials involving pediatric hematology and oncology.
