Detailed Biography:

Derjung Mimi Tarn is a family physician who joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2006 as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Tarn earned her B.S. and M.S. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, her medical degree from New York Medical College, and her Ph.D. in Health Services from UCLA. She completed her family medicine residency at the University of Southern California-Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in 2002, and completed National Research Service Award (NRSA) and Specialty Training and Advanced Research (STAR) program research fellowships.
