Detailed Biography:

Research Interest: Dr. Makinodan is currently a professor at the UCLA School of Medicine and a Health Science Officer for the Veterans Administration. He is developing a community-based outreach program in Los Angeles for elders in the Asian Pacific community. Previous to these positions, Dr. Makinodan was Director of the Medical Treatment Effectiveness Program of UCLA/VA/RAND. Dr. Makinodan resides in Los Angeles, California.
