Detailed Biography:

Christiane Baltaxe, TCDD Interdisciplinary Training Coordinator for Communication Disorders, investigates the neurolinguistic characteristics and needs of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. She also is the Director of Communication Disorders in the Neuropsychiatric Institute. Dr Baltaxe co-authors texts and articles on social communication strategies of individuals identified with communication disorders and on the verbal interaction of individuals diagnosed with autistic disorder or schizotypal personality disorder.
