Detailed Biography:

Dr. robert Chiu is a molecular biologist has served on the UCLA School of Dentistry and School of Medicine (surgical Oncology) since he joined the UCLA in 1989. He became full professor in 2000. Dr. Chiu earned Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the UCSD, Department of Pharmacology, where he worked on proto-oncogenes c-Jun and Jun B as transcriptional regulators.
