Laura Cobb, Ph.D.

A Short Biography:

Laura Cobb is a biochemist and molecular biologist who joined the faculty at UCLA in 2007. She obtained her BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK in 2001 and PhD in Cell Biology from The Babraham Institute/University of Cambridge, UK in 2005. Dr Cobb carried out post-doctoral studies in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at UCLA, studying the effects of the IGF system on human diseases including prostate cancer and diabetes.
