Detailed Biography:

Child health and nutrition in the U.S.A. and developing countries; with a focus on functional outcomes of micronutrient deficiencies and food-based solutions. Also PI and co-investigator on a number of obesity prevention programs in the Los Angeles Unified School District and promotion of improved diet and exercise in the school setting.
