Marcy Borlik, M.D., M.P.H.

A Short Biography:

Dr. Forgey Borlik is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCLA Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where she serves as the Associate Training Director for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program and the Medical Director of the Pediatric C/L Psychiatry Service. Dr. Forgey Borlik participates in research in the areas of pediatric psychosomatic medicine and mood disorders. She served as a site principal investigator for a multi-site study of risk factors for pediatric psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, a sibling study examining the unique factors contributing to the development of this disorder within a family system and is currently a co-investigator of an NIH-funded study looking at the impact of Family Focused Treatment on symptomatology in youth at risk for bipolar disorders. Dr. Forgey Borlik also has a strong interest in advocacy for child and adolescent mental health and is active on a local, state, and national level through her work in organized psychiatry.
