Detailed Biography:

Dr Michael Bryer-Ash obtained his medical degree at the University of London, U.K. and did his medical internship at St. George's Hospital, also in London. His internal medicine residency was undertaken at the University of Chicago and Stanford University. His endocrinology subspecialty training was taken at Stanford University and the University of California San Diego. He has held Faculty positions at the University of British Columbia (Canada), Tulane University and the University of Tennessee. He is currently Professor of Medicine, Associate Director of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and Director of the Gonda Diabetes Center at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
