Massoud Akhtari

A Short Biography:

Dr Akhtari is a Physicist with background in condensed mater as well as high-energy physics. In 1991, he started work in localizing brain sources of activity using magntoencephalography thus developing instrumentation and modeling. His current academic interests are studying the electromagnetic properties of the human brain and developing targeted and disease-specific MRI contrast agents as well as targeted drug delivery technology using nanotechnology. Dr Akhtari has numerous peer-reviewed publications and multiple international patents.
